MULE DAY CELEBRATION

Each year the lowly mule gets the honor of being the main attraction at the Mule Day festival in Columbia, Tn. Owners bring their teams to the fair grounds from many surrounding states. Some trailer their wagons, and mules. Others spend days on the road driving their teams to the fair grounds just like in the days of old. A huge parade with the honored Mules happens this Saturday. A look back at times when the Mule was important to farmers survival.
Thousands of spectators will flock to Columbia for the Mule Day Festival. Plenty of good food, events, music, games and fun awaits for everyone. We look forward to this trip each year.
Word of warning.........Watch where you step!!!!!!!

  4. Saw an Amish person fertilizing his field, he had a 6 mule team hooked to the spreader. Pretty awsome seeing them pull it.
